FALL GARLAND

How do you feel about seasonal decorating? I love it! But sometimes less is more. This fall garland is the perfect hint of fall without becoming too cheesy! It is easy, affordable, and can be done in less than an hour!

What You Need:

-Collected Leaves

-Twine/String

-Mini Clothes Pins

-Tape/Thumbtacks

-Scissors

Step 1)

Collect leaves! I grabbed a plastic bag when I took Big on his afternoon walk around the neighborhood and gathered more than enough leaves. I might have looked a little crazy to any neighbors that saw me scavenging for leaves in their yard.... But it was well worth it.

I do recommend trying to collect a variety of shapes, sizes, and colors! You'll be surprised at how simple this task truly is.

Step 2)

Cut your string and tape or pin it at your desired location. I did mine across my mantle and one across a large mirror in my living room. Remember to cut enough string so that it arches slightly. The leaves will also weigh the string down some!

Step 3)

Using the mini clothes pins begin pinning the leaves to the string. This is where the variety of leaves comes into play. Alternate different sizes, colors, and shapes to create the ultimate fall vibe!
